V K Premchand

V.K. Premchand had his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with distinction from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal. He was a National Merit Scholarship holder during his engineering education.

Soon after his graduation, he left for USA and had his Master’s Degree in Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley, one of the top 4 campuses for Engineering in USA. He worked with the Software Development groups of Radio Corporation of America at Cherry Hill, New Jersey and Honeywell at Waltham, Massachusetts.

He returned to India in 1971 and headed the Software Development division of Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL). His team had successfully implemented many pioneering software projects such as Operating Systems and Application Software in the areas of Banking, Insurance and Manufacturing. While at ECIL, he organized the first National Seminar on Software Development in India during the year 1977. He figured in the list of high flier Managers from Public Sector Undertakings identified by the Government of India.

He left ECIL in 1986 and established Frontier Information Technologies Ltd(now called XT Global Infotech), the first Software Industry in the undivided State of Andhra Pradesh. During his tenure, the company provided employment for more than 2000 engineering and other graduates , apart from executing wide variety of projects for International and domestic clients. College of Defense Management, Hyderabad, India, Qualcomm, Lombard, Odier and Cie(Switzerland), Apex Data Services(USA), Data Entry International(Sri Lanka), Web Manage Technologies(USA), Inmarsat(UK).The Company also brought out the first Oracle based Health Care software in the country.

V.K.Premchand was a member of the Computers and Automation Committee constituted by the Information Planning and Analysis Group of Planning Commission during the 7th Five year Plan.

He was a member of the Board of Studies for Computer Science formed by Osmania University and National Institute of Technology, Warangal.

He was many times invited speaker at the annual conventions of Computer Society of India.

He was nominated for the prestigious Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar award given by the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research under the Government of India.

He received Distinguished Alumnus award from NIT, Warangal in the year 2002.


Giridharan Vaidyanathan

Giridharan Vaidyanathan, Director, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from Osmania University. With an experience of about 4 decades in Health-IT, he pioneered the use of Telemedicine in 1997 in India. Under his leadership many teams have implemented projects in India, south Asia, south East Asia, Middle East Asia, Africa and the Middle East covering more than 150,000 patients.

His expertise is in the adoption of Information Technology in Healthcare Industry, including Hospital Information Systems, Medical Imaging, Telemedicine, Patient Clinical and Health Records, and Clinical Decision Support System. These products are operational at over 200 hospitals, 500 clinics and diagnostic centers.


T K Chary

T.K.Chary holds M.Phil (Computer Methods) Degree from Central University of Hyderabad and also a Master's Degree in Physics with Electronics specialization from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He was a merit scholarship awardee during his Master's and a Fellowship holder during his M.Phil.

He is a senior IT professional with four decades of experience in the IT industry. Starting as a systems programmer on IBM mainframes, he rose to the levels of Chief Executive, Delivery Head, Quality Head, Technology Head, and Operations Head.

He worked with Organizations such as Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), PCL-Mindware, Divyam Software, Frontier, Integra Micro Systems, Digital Illusions, Wissen Infotech in the domains of health care, banking and finance, satellite communications, supply chain and logistics optimization, manufacturing and industrial process control and served clientele in India and abroad such as GE Healthcare, GE Aviation, Jack Coopers Transport, San Jose Mercury News, Cumberland Farms, Inmarsat, First Data, NWS Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

He presented papers at Computer society of India annual convention, Chennai, Advanced Satellite Mobile Systems (ASMS) conference, Germany and was an invited speaker in forums such as National Productivity Council, SBIICM and Computer society of India.
